ITEMS OF INTEREST THIS WEEK

On Friday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m., the Arizona Diamondbacks invite all members of The Episcopal Diocese of Arizona, along with their family and friends, to an exciting game of baseball as the D-Backs take on the Reds! You’ll have a chance to chat with Bishop and Laura Smith, and a portion of every ticket purchased will be donated to support an outreach ministry project to send water filters to South Sudan. Stay after the game for fireworks and concert! Get tickets here.

[CPG] Playground safety is a two-pronged issue: First, the equipment needs to be safe, and second, children need to be properly supervised. As churches and schools prepare for day camps and summer fun, keep both equipment and supervision safety in mind. Read more.
