CHANGE A QUESTION… CHANGE A LIFE?

Few things in life have as much impact on the human heart as the right question at the right time. Questions that are open-ended can lead us to a fuller discussion about a topic or idea, whereas “yes” or “no” questions tend to stifle conversation. A really great question gives us pause before we answer it. It makes us think-sometimes so much so that we hesitate to answer, or, in some cases, become emotional and unable to answer the question in the moment.

Times Need Christian Witness of Episcopal Church
[ENS] There’s energy, life and vitality in the Episcopal Church, Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry told the Executive Council as it opened its June 8-10 meeting. “I really believe that we’re on the right track,” Curry said in his opening remarks. Read more.

NEWS AROUND THE DIOCESE
Guatemala Project Sendoff Fiesta  

 

 

On Saturday, June 18 at 5:00 p.m., St. Michael & All Angels (Tucson) features a welcome for visiting Maya leader, Domingo Alvarez Ajanel, president of the 22 associated rural communities the Guatemalan Project serves, and blessings for a Jeep Cherokee donated to the Project by a Tucson Samaritan. Everyone is welcome. Light refreshments, gratis. Guatemalan food and selected Maya textiles will be on sale.

Yoga at Trinity
Starting on Saturday, June 18 at 10:00 a.m., Yoga class will be held weekly in the Olney Room art gallery at Trinity Cathedral (Phoenix). All are invited to attend. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat. Lisa Christopher will lead each class.
