Several years ago, the Diocese of Arizona entered into a Companion Diocese relationship with the Navajoland Area Mission.  A year and a half ago, Bishop Smith established a position on his staff with the intention of developing a focus on Native American Ministry.  With 22 federally recognized tribes residing within the diocesan borders, it is clear that our answer  to the question, “Who is our neighbor?” has to include our Native sisters and brothers.   For details and to register
