BUSINESS AS USUAL?

This Sunday is “Low Sunday,” that time of post-Easter let-down. In many churches, the attendance will be low, the choir may off, and the clergy may even be on vacation. ITEMS OF INTEREST THIS WEEK
Family Camp Registration Open

Diocesan Family Camp (July 6-9) is an opportunity to use your family vacation time to unplug from the busyness of daily life and reconnect with your children and with the God who made you a family. It is challenging in this over-programmed, screen-filled culture to take the time out to be present to the people in our families. You will experience prayer, music, free time exploring the beauty of Prescott, and old-fashioned camp fun, like arts and crafts, a campfire, the ropes course, and games. Invest in your family, and come join us!

It’s Not About the Money…It’s About Relationships!

This workshop, which is part of StewU, is for all interested Lay Leaders, Finance and Stewardship Committee members, Vestry and Clergy. The Rev. Canon Timothy Dombek, Canon for Stewardship and Planned Giving, will present these topics:
  • Building Relationships = Increased Giving
  • How to Talk About Money and Pledges
  • Planned Giving: The Most Overlooked Aspect of
    Congregational Stewardship

It will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at All Saints of the Desert (Sun City). Lunch will be provided. To register, contact Diane at the church office at (623) 974-8404 or via e-mail
