Dear Friends of St. Stephen’s,
These things often seem to happen in threes… Doris Millard’s close friend Bill (Willard Parsons), had died by what appears to be suicide. Bill’s brother and his wife are taking care of final arrangements and we don’t yet know if there will be a funeral. If not, we may hold a memorial service for Doris and other friends of Bills. Please keep Doris in your prayers as she grieves this loss.
Most merciful God, whose wisdom is beyond our understanding, Deal graciously with Doris and Bill’s family and friends in their grief. Surround them with your loving care, that they may not be overwhelmed by their loss, but have confidence in your goodness and strength to meet the days to come, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
