Hello Sierra Vista,
The Sierra Vista Salvation Army has received approval from our National Headquarters and the Southwest Division of the Salvation Army for an “out-of-season” Bell Ringing campaign in support of all the relief efforts underway for the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
This “out-of-season” Bell Ringing campaign will only be for a very short duration of time, possibly 4 – 10 days.
We DESPERATELY NEED Bell Ringers from:
8:30 AM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, 14 September
8:30 AM – 8:00 PM, Friday, 15 September
8:30 AM – 8:00 PM, Saturday, 16 September
So far, the ONLY Bell Ringing location will be at BOTH doors of the Sierra Vista Walmart Store.
ONLY monetary donations and checks will be accepted. WE have NO MEANS of transporting goods or supplies to the hurricane effected areas. Donations are tax deductible (your cancelled check is your tax proof). ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of all donations collected will be sent to the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
IF you are available to volunteer as a Bell Ringer, for one or more hours, during this time, please contact Captain Carlos Souza at the Salvation Army. His contact details are: Salvation Army (520) 459-8411 (10AM –
3 PM M-F), cell phone number (661) 574 – 5101 (please only call from 9AM – 6PM) and E-mail Carlos.souza@usw.salvationarmy.org or Sue Miller at suemiller64@yahoo.com and we will add you to the Bell Ringer roster.
Please forward this to all your contacts who would like to assist the hurricane victims.
THANK YOU Sierra Vista!!
