Spirituality for the Second Half of Life Ministry Event
St. Stephen’s will host a Spirituality for the Second Half of Life presentation, Sunday, October 1, from noon to 3:00 PM…after sharing a potluck lunch, Linda M. Williams, PhD, CSD and The Reverend Ann Johnson will provide two hours of presentation and dialogue followed by a shared dessert & dialogue.
The purpose of this event is to introduce this new ministry to St. Stephen’s .
We all optimistically embark on a new phase of our lives in our 50s as we begin to contemplate retirement and a whole new way of living. But this exploration of new ways continues into our 90s and beyond – seemingly ever changing. We want to spend some fellowship time with you considering what we want this second half of our lives to look like – and how God desires to enter into both the adventure and the challenges – and how we, as a community of faith, can share the journey together – perhaps deciding together on a variety of stage- and age-related activities and gatherings. We hope that you will join us to explore ideas for the St. Stephen’s “family of sages”. More Info
