As of Saturday, Nathan is breathing on his own, has said some words, and spent a hour holding Bishop Reddall’s phone to his ear listening to the Hamilton soundtrack. He is not throwing away his shot. He is still in ICU, but hopefully today he will move to the floor and be even more stable. Bishop Reddall extends an ENORMOUS debt of gratitude to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She says, “they saved my boy’s life, and every member of the staff has been so kind, professional, pastoral, and encouraging that we feel hopeful for the future, even though we know it’s going to be months of rehab. Keep those prayers coming!”
