Church-Wide Bible Reading Initiative
[TEC] Forward Movement, along with partners from across the Episcopal Church, invites all Episcopalians to participate in the Good Book Club. A church-wide Bible reading initiative, the Good Book Club will focus on Paul’s Letter to the Romans, with participants reading a section of scripture each day during the Epiphany season, starting on January 7, 2019. The 2019 Lay Leadership Weekend, scheduled from February 1-3 at Chapel Rock in Prescott, offers the opportunity for those in leadership roles to spend time with Bishop Kirk Smith, Bishop-Elect Jennifer Reddall, and the Diocesan staff. Friends of Music: Sehr Romantisch
The next Friends of Music concert at St. Philip’s In The Hills (Tucson) will be held in the church on Sunday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m. Don’t miss this delightful afternoon of Romantic Guitar Music with classical guitarist Misael Barraza-Diaz and the renowned Bolton Guitars and Friends. Dr. Barraza-Diaz and company are guaranteed to deliver a rich collage of wondrous music from the multi-award-winning guitar studio and colleagues at The University of Arizona.
