Two Families could use help making Christmas brighter

It took a bit of research, but we now have two families that we can help this year for Xmas that are in need.  The first is a single-mom coworker of our St. Stephen’s treasurer Sandra Calhoun.  She has two small children.  The other family is an older teenager and her mom and dad in Douglas, known to Donna and Shannon Savill, our members, who teach in Douglas.  The teen is soon graduating high school and is very intelligent.  This family struggles financially and the teen could use some nicer clothes to dress for interviews.

Below is a flyer with types of clothes and sizes.

We will have a giving tree in the parish hall to select items to shop for.  However, since time is growing short we are also sending this out via email to give us more time to shop.

We ask that you wrap and bring to the church the items to be given with tags that indicate who the gift is for.  Names are on the flyer and on the giving tree tags.  Place wrapped gifts on the dining room table on the porch.

It will be nice to have families that we have a personal connection to through our members in the church.  Please help us to help them have a Merry Christmas.

Peace,

Allison
