Dear St. Stephen’s,

Effective immediately, all worship and other indoor church activities at St. Stephen’s will require attendees to wear masks and social distance.  This is for both vaccinated and un-vaccinated people.
Our vestry has just met and discussed the CDC recommendation that all indoor public gatherings should require masks of everyone, vaccinated and un-vaccinated.  Bishop Reddall had asked that each church’s leadership determine what they felt was best for its own situation.
Earlier this week Cochise County moved from moderate to substantial infection rates.  This along with other CDC information about the transmissibility/infectiousness of the Delta variant of Covid and the roughly 43% un-vaccinated rate in our county has led us to this decision.
Please wear a mask when you come to church.  If you need a mask we will continue to have disposable ones available.

  1. Please social distance from others in the church by 6 ft.
  2. We will go back to receiving the bread and wine from the Presider (Priest) and LEM, instead of intincting your own wafer.
  3. You may have fellowship outside and socially distanced, but no indoor coffee hour for now.

If you have any questions, please contact Rev. Allison, Tim Holsonback, or Sherry Simon.

Thank you for your willingness to abide by these changes and keep praying that we will see improvement in our community and nation soon.

Peace,

Rev. Allison
