Dear Friends of St. Stephen’s,
Sadly, another member of our church has passed into the eternal life. Phyllis Fortenberry after a long decline in health from dementia has died October 5th shortly after having been put on hospice care at Healing Hearts. Her family are planning a private family funeral at Jensens Mortuary where Phyllis will be cremated and her cremains will later be interred in her home state of Ohio. Please keep her in your prayers for repose of her soul. Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live all who die in the Lord: Receive our friend Phyllis into the courts of your heavenly dwelling place. Let her heart and soul now ring out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God and the God of those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen. Peace + Rev. Allison Cornell |
