March 26, 2018, 7PM, ST Stephen’s Episcopal Church, invites you to join the St. Barbara Chapter of the Order of the Daughter’s of the King to our 6th Annual Evening Prayer service with Taize music. We will hear a reading from Isaiah then the Gospel of John 12: 1-11 telling a story of Jesus’s experience after the Palm Sunday procession into Jerusalem. Intermingling quiet prayerful songs with the day’s collect and other prayers, we begin the long walk from Jerusalem to the Crucifixion at Golgatha which ends with the amazing story of Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Morning.
